Microfibre cloths improve hygiene
August 1st 2011

Ramon Hygiene Products says its microfibre range is becoming an increasingly popular choice for hospitals.

Also available is a colour coded semi-disposable microfilament cloth supplied in a tissue box type dispenser.

Microfibre is usually made up of 70% polyester and 305 polyamide. It becomes microfibre when the fibre weighs less than 1g per 10km of length.

The cloths remove dirt, grease and bacteria from all surfaces, and with just water, should clean and remove up to 99.9% of bacteria from surfaces.

The cloths should be folded twice to create a pad with eight clean sides. When one side is loaded with dirt re-fold to create a new clean surface. The dirt remains trapped in the cloth until the laundering process. The cloths can be laundered up to 500 times at 90°C.
