Let the cart do the donkey work October 1st 2006 A new water carrying cart system for use with water fed poles has been introduced by Aquafactors/Tucker Pole. The company says it answers the need for pure water as and where needed For some while now getting pure water to difficult access areas, of 'point of use', has led to a proliferation of mobile 'mini'water systems. Not all of these have been successful with criticisms about low water carrying capacity, complexity, size and weight. Aquafactors / Tucker Pole, realising the downsides of such products, has not rushed into competing in this sector. However, with owners of hotels, residential homes and other large buildings wanting to use their own maintenance personnel, with poles, the requirement for a mobile system, able to provide pure water where and when they want, in quantity, quickly and efficiently, has grown. In several instances the need has been for a system capable of being manoeuvred through a building, up in a lift, along corridors and onto a roof to clean penthouse windows. The Tucker cart system meets this demand in several ways.Although not a small system it is able to go through a doorway 735mm wide. It carries 360 litres of water and has its own battery power supply, pump,'Varistream' controller and 20 metre retractable hose reel. The water treatment implications are kept 'simple' with an onboard deioniser. The tank is based on the company's thermo crafted, baffled unit, used with all its mobile systems. The company says it is totally impervious to light and is amazingly strong and lightweight. The large tyres make handling easy and the cart is braked. The cart weighs 542kg when full and 166kg when empty. The system will work with most poles. For additional information, use the free reader enquiry service. |
