Business advice for students
August 1st 2010

When the North London Careers Academy Board wanted to treat ten of its top students and tutors to a business and management success story, chairman Steve Wright (past chairman of the British Cleaning Council) called LCC Support Services to deliver a case study.

LCC's executive chairman, Bob Vincent and operational administration director Christine Wilson carried out the presentation.Vincent gave some of his personal business tips and advice.Wilson demonstrated LCC's bespoke IBMS customer management software system.

"I was flattered that from 24,000 students, ten of the brightest in the Business Academy were chosen to visit us to learn how to build and run a business," says Vincent."It was like being Sir Alan Sugar for the day." "The Careers Academy Board is reliant on businesses that can accommodate student visits as the Government has not invested in such trips, so the scheme relies on business support,"ends Wright.
