Electrician-free electronic taps June 1st 2008 Because it is battery-operated,
Rada says its Tripoint-F
electronic tap can be installed
without calling on an
electrician – opening new
possibilities for installing
infrared taps in areas where
they had previously been
uneconomic to install.
Tripoint infrared sensor
technology works in a similar
manner to an autofocus
camera.This produces highly
reliable operation because the
accuracy of the beam
transmission and reflection
greatly reduces false
activations - a problem with
some infrared designs.
The taps also feature an
energy reducing timed flow
facility, a mixer temperature
control, a vandal proof design,
in line filters and self cleaning
diaphragm. All models are
supplied with WRAS approved
flexible hoses.
Watertight seal protect the
sensors and control electronics.
With all components accessible
from above the basin, servicing
is easy. Battery life is 3-5 years. |
