Initial Washroom Solutions confirmed as a lead sponsor

The 2005 World Toilet Summit, which will take place in Belfast Waterfront Hall from 26th – 29 September, will be the first ever major World Conference devoted to toilet provision and standards held in the Western World and is attracting a great deal of interest The Summit organisers are pleased to announce that Initial Washroom Solutions has pledged its support by becoming the Platinum Partner at the Summit. Grant Parrott and Susan Yallop, marketing directors for the company, flew into Belfast recently to visit the magnificent Waterfront Hall, which will host the Summit conference, and St George’s Market, which will house the product exhibition of the Summit.

Commenting on their sponsorship deal worth £30 000, Susan Yallop said: “Initial Washroom Solutions is the ideal company to headline the Summit; for over 100 years we have been totally committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene to safeguard the health of washroom users. We have a comprehensive range of services that has helped make us the market leader. The range includes hand washing and drying systems, WC and urinal sanitisation, feminine hygiene services, washroom vending and air freshener and purification units.” Jack Sim, founder of the World Toilet Organisation, travelled from Singapore to view the Summit venue and greet sponsors and thank them for their support for the first Summit. The Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Tom Ekin, held a civic reception to welcome Mr Sim and all Summit Sponsors to Belfast. The Lord Mayor highlighted the importance of raising hygiene standards and expressed his gratitude to the organisers for choosing Belfast to host the 2005 World Toilet Summit.
