Carry pack keeps costs down February 1st 2010 A new packaging concept for
Tork interfold hand towels is
designed to cut costs, save time
and make life easier for the
cleaner.
SCA Tissue Europe's new Tork
Carry Pack is made from strong,
clear plastic and claims to be
easier to transport, open and
store than a traditional
corrugated box. It uses only a
sixth of the amount of material,
reducing waste and waste
disposal costs.
"Cleaners will like the fact that
the Tork Carry Pack has
comfortable handles allowing
them to carry two packs at
once," says Charlotte Branwhite
SCA Tissue Europe product and
market manager."The pack can
be opened in a few seconds by
peeling back a perforated plastic
tab, which removes the need for
hunting around for a knife to
open a box."
The bundles of hand towels
inside the carry pack are tightly
compressed and take up
minimum storage space.The
waterproof plastic pack can be
stored outside.
The plastic used in the pack is
recyclable and can be used as a
bin liner when empty, which can
further help to reduce costs.
"The pack saves man hours in
facilities where time equals
money," ends Branwhite. More articles from SCA Tissue Europe: |
