Some customers have to deal with as many as four companies to provide equipment for one washroom. This can be time consuming and costly. Cleaning Matters takes a look at the new range In May 2005, Brightwell Dispensers used the cleaning industry’s largest stage, Interclean, to launch the first of a new range of washroom dispensers. The Modular soap dispenser has revolutionised the market through its innovative and versatile design.

Sharing a universal stylish enclosure the dispenser is capable of housing pumps for liquid soap, foam soap, or spray soap. These pumps are interchangeable in seconds without the need even for tools, and all are available with either a refillable reservoir or pouch. Another alternative is the disposable bottle and pump, especially useful where total integrity of the product is required.

A year later, the company has followed this with a touch-free version, again setting new standards through the use of two sets of low cost batteries, one set acting as a back-up for when power from the first set expires, thus giving operators plenty of time to ensure that there is never a time when power isn’t available.

Brightwell’s philosophy in developing the remainder of the range was dictated by the needs of the market, where research indicated that customers wanted a range that was complementary, synergistic, and above all comprehensive; the new Modular range satisfies all those demands. Using a variety of colours, each of the new tissue dispensers features a teardropshaped window, which can be selected to match company logos or washroom décor. All of the dispensers lock automatically and can be opened with a single key, making cleaning or refilling easier.

Subject to relatively low quantities, the company can print its customers’ logos on a generous size plaque, common to most of the dispensers, giving a corporate look to an already attractive range.

Furthermore, the ability to source virtually everything via one supplier will help customers reduce administration costs. Research revealed that all too often the customer has to deal with anything up to four different suppliers for the washroom alone. Not only does this mean that there are four representatives to see, four invoices to deal with, but on top of all that the offerings often fail to match at all and the washroom environment becomes something of a ‘dog’s breakfast’.

This just isn’t necessary any longer with the Modular Washroom Range.

Included in the range: The Modular Centre Pull Dispenser – This dispenser is available in 2 sizes, is made from smooth injection moulded plastic, compatible with both perforated and un-perforated paper, it also features a unique tearoff cleat mechanism and flow restrictor plate which cleverly avoids paper wastage.

The Modular Hand Towel Dispenser – Available in either large or small the unique outlet aperture means that this dispenser is as strong as it is versatile, accommodating your choice of interleaved or centrefold hand towels.

The Modular Jumbo Toilet Tissue Dispenser – Suitable for a wide range and size of jumbo toilet roll, it is compatible with both perforated and un-perforated papers and comes with a reversible spigot to accommodate varying roll core diameters.

The Modular Automatic Hand Dryer – This compact electronic hand dryer offers the power and performance of a large machine with the economy of a smaller, lower power model.

The Modular Soap Dispenser – Using a universal enclosure, the dispenser allows the delivery of liquid, spray or foam soap. The preferred soap can be dispensed using a variety of “plug & play” components including a refillable reservoir, disposable bottle or pouch system and a touch free module.

The Modular Air Fresh System – The Modular air fresh system brings a breath of ozone friendly fresh air to the modular range. Despite its attractive looks, it provides a highly efficient and cost effective way to control unpleasant odours.
