Dispensing efficient solutions
February 1st 2008 As part of its ongoing search for ways to improve the washroom experience, Lotus
Professional has improved the design and reliability of its Compact toilet tissue
dispenser, while retaining its low waste, low-cost features
The Compact System now has a new slim-line dispenser available
in white and blue to match existing Lotus Professional
washroom ranges. It has been designed to be more
aesthetically impressive than its forerunner and has new practical
design features that provide controlled dispensing and improved
reliability.
For example, reliability has been improved by having a harpoon
system within the unit that controls the braking effect during
dispensing, reducing unnecessary wear and tear.
As well as improvements to the dispenser, Lotus Professional has
recognises that washroom users are increasingly looking for a higher
quality tissue and has introduced a thicker and softer roll made from
virgin pulp.This is in addition to the one and two-ply recycled rolls
currently available.
Chris Lindsay, product category manager, comments "The
washroom plays a vital role in the image a company portrays to its
customers, especially in areas such as the hotel and restaurant
industries.We have witnessed the rise of the increasingly discerning
end-user who demands greater luxury in the washroom and we have
improved the Compact System in response to those demands.

Changes to the Compact System have not been at the expense of
its traditional benefits. It still contributes to tidier washrooms with no
litter from bathroom tissue rolls left lying on the floor and less risk of
a blocked toilet. It is easy to service as a high capacity system that
requires less refilling, and is simple to top-up.The system also reduces
waste and saves money with no
