Airdri, manufacturer of warm air dryers, has reported a significant trend towards stainless steel cased dryers in chromed or brushed finish.

John Curzon, Airdri’s general manager, said, “During the nineties we saw the trend for many differing coloured finishes to suit the individual washroom décor and logo branded products were in demand too. Now, we’re seeing demand grow significantly for stainless steel dryers with brushed or chromed finish which gives a hygienic look to the washroom. In fact, we’re seeing sales grow by more then 25% across the range as businesses realise the benefits of utilising warm air dryers.” Made in the UK, there is a choice of models that dry the hands or face as fast as 20 seconds. The robust heavy duty casing on the popular Classic range is vandal resistant. A fully automated version with an infrared sensor system offers the ultimate in hygiene and eliminates the risks of cross contamination completely. By detecting the presence of hands under the air outlet, the sensor automatically switches the dryer on. The dryer switches itself off automatically a few seconds after hands are removed. As an alternative, manual versions incorporating the latest technology touch controls are also available.
