Essential oils for wellbeing June 1st 2008 Tea Tree and Ylang-Ylang aromas
have been recently added to the
Signature Aromas range.The
range of natural aromas is used
with its air fragrancing systems
Vaparoma,
Suparoma and
Restaroma,
and air
steriliser unit
Purazone.
Natural
aromas are
thought to
improve the ambiance of
sensitive atmospheres such as
hospital and nursing wards, care
homes and even offices.
Tea-Tree, has natural antiseptic
and antifungal properties. It has
a fresh camphoraceous smell
which Aborigines discovered
had unique germ-killing powers.
Ylang-ylang also has antiseptic
properties and is used to help
release tension, anxiety and
reduce high blood pressure. It
has also been used to fight
intestinal infections.The natural
oils have been impregnated into
separate Signature Aromas biodegradable
discs for use in the
air treatment systems
and the new
Purazone unit –
which is proven to
kill air borne
bacteria such as
MRSA and C Diff.
Signature Aromas
systems are installed
in over 200 hospitals
and nursing homes.The systems
use patented essential oil
membranes to release a nontoxic
odour neutralising dry
vapour into the air which will
quickly control and eliminate
any smoke, food and biological
odours wherever they are used
in the hospital.They use COSHH
approved essential oils that are
pure and natural. Units are
