Traffic Lane Cleaning or Pre Sprays? Choose The Professional Route April 1st 2007 It is surprising that many professional cleaning companies either do not use a traffic lane cleaner or use the same one for everything and wonder why they do not always get the best results. As a company we at Chemspec have always recognised that different soils respond to different types of product. There are general pre sprays such as 321 Traffic Lane Cleaner / Food soils in restaurants or pubs need Enzyme type traffic lane cleaners such as Enzall or Prekleen Enzyme Soil Lifter and oily soils which might occur on new housing estates from tar or in garages where oil is walked in onto carpet you need a solvent based traffic lane cleaner suitable for oily soils such as Heavy Duty Soil Lifter.
The prespray option is to pre spray entire carpets and then extract with a rinsing agent of some kind that does not do much cleaning and relies solely on the pre spray to do all the cleaning. The best way to tackle heavily trafficked carpets or upholstery is to deal with the heavy soil using a specifically designed detergent and rinse with a suitable detergent that will rinse and clean at the same time and is tailored to the fibre type i.e.wool /polypropylene or nylon.
Choosing your detergent from the new encapsulating detergent rinse ranges will create a polymer encapsulation around even the crystallising residue and be completely safe from reactivation. Liquid Express Lane is a good example of this and it will protect your equipment while you use it as well.
