Technology improves refuse collections April 1st 2007 North Lincolnshire Council is using the latest information technology to improve the management of refuse collections. The new Mayrise system has led to increased domestic recycling performances and customer service levels. The council uses the system to record individual refuse and recycling rounds and details relating to specific properties. It logs enquiries from the public, feedback from crew and incidents of fly tipping or abandoned vehicles. This allows the council to maintain an accurate and up-todate waste service history for every property and street in the area, assisting with overall management of collection rounds. |
