Promotions for distributors June 1st 2008 OGL Computer has launched a new 'promotions' facility to its
software package, prof.ITplus.The package is designed for
stockists, distributors and merchants and aims to increase
profitability through more
efficient stock control and
order processing.
The 'promotions'
feature within prof.ITplus
has been developed to
help users effectively
manage buy-one-getone-
free or similar
promotions.The company
says the ability to 'up-sell'
a variety of products
within the sales order process will add value for customers and
maximise sales.
The new facility allows the user to define the 'buy quantity –
get quantity' values which can be linked to product groups or
single items; link products such as 'buy the drill – get a special
price on extra batteries'; or apply specific discount percentages
with start and end dates to match CRM e-shot offers or
catalogue promotions.Messages can even be added to prompt
staff on what to say to the customer or to point out warranty or
other important information.The latest 'promotions' solution
integrates with prof.ITplus CRM
