Respirator Fit
Testing, it is
necessary to fit
test all users of
tight fitting
respirators, from
breathing
apparatus to
filtering face
pieces.The TSI

Screwfix has added more safety
and workwear products to its latest
catalogue (issue 87).Combining
new personal protection and site
safety items as well as signage and
road safety products, the range has
been enhanced by the addition of,
for example, Hi-Vis clothing from
3M and footwear from Dr Martens
and Kodiak.
Additions to the clothing range
include DeWalt polo shirts,DeWalt
mens' jeans and 3M Hi-Vis
waistcoats and bomber jackets.
Footwear includes Dr Martens 7-
Eyelet Boots and Safety Rigger
Boots, and Kodiak Ladies' Safety
Trainer 3.Other new items include
Timberland Pro Extra Grip Gloves,
Kevlar Grip gloves with latex coated
palms and the Scott Proflow SC
Promask Kit. Fall Arrest systems
include the JSP Hi- Vis Full Body
Harness, shock absorbing lanyards
and JSP self-retractable fall arrester.
Tester eliminates the guesswork
found with other testing methods,
and reduces the amount of work
associated with fit testing in general.
The FitPlus Fit Test software that
comes with the instrument allows fit
testing to be streamlined even
further,by letting your computer do
the work.
Manufacturer TSI has a dedicated
in-house service and calibration
facility at its UK base,providing a fast
turnaround, meaning that even
more workers may be tested. |
