recently launched products will also be making their first exhibition appearances
Interclean 2010 will mark the first major european exhibition
attended by Diversey after its name change from JohnsonDiversey
following the investment made by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in
October 2009. Innovation and sustainability are key themes of the
show area where the company will display recent launches for the
first time, preview forthcoming solutions and reveal more details of
its new corporate identity.
The new corporate identity will feature strongly throughout the
stand, providing many visitors with their first chance to see the new
designs for themselves. The distinctive new styling aims to reinforce
the company's position as an industry leader while recognising its
continuity and heritage.
Commitment to sustainability, continuous development of
innovative solutions and excellent customer service remain at the
heart of the new Diversey business. The company has a longstanding
commitment to sustainability, as illustrated by its work with
the WWF and other global organisations.
The company's goal is to practise sustainability in all aspects of its
business and to help customers do the same in their own.
The company's chairman, Curtis Johnson, recently announced a
commitment to increase its carbon emissions reduction target from
8% to 25% by 2013.
Stars of the show
Two innovations launched in the UK at the end of 2009 and making
their first appearance at a major cleaning exhibition are the TASKI
Trolley integrated trolley system and the QuattroSelect four-in-one
dilution control unit.
The TASKI Trolley is a modular and integrated cleaning workstation
that combines innovation and ergonomic design to improve overall
performance, efficiency and sustainability in a wide range of applications.
A complete set of tools and equipment is available so that the TASKI
Trolley can be configured to support microfibre, spray-and-wipe,wetmop
and general cleaning applications. The latest ergonomic
concepts ensure all items on the trolley remain within easy reach for
efficient work flows and optimised processes so that users do not have to
bend or stretch awkwardly. The result is faster and more efficient overall
cleaning with less time spent stopping and starting between tasks.
Fab four
QuattroSelect is a new efficient dilution system for building care. It
enables up to four cleaning products to be easily prepared in
different dilutions at different speeds. Suitable for large sites with
centralised management of cleaning operations,QuattroSelect
complements JohnsonDiversey's existing Exact and J-Flex
concentrate platforms. The newly designed ergonomic QuattroSelect
pouches promote sustainability. For example, one pouch of floor
cleaner can be used to prepare 125 litres of ready-to-use solution,
eliminating the chemical miles and extra packaging associated with
conventional products.
Each pouch utilises just 50g of EU-approved mixed plastics and
claims to contain product equivalent to two five-litre containers of
standard concentrate or 167 standard trigger bottles. Each kilogram
of QuattroSelect packaging contains the equivalent cleaning product
to 7kg of conventional five litre concentrate containers and 246kg of
ready-to-use trigger bottles.
A number of other innovations will be introduced or previewed by
Diversey at Interclean. These will include additions to the TASKI range
of high-performance floor care machines and a new hand care
dispenser that promotes sustainability and supports easier customers
branding.Details of these and other products will be announced at
the exhibition.
