Sustainable and simple to use
August 1st 2010 The new TASKI swingo 855B walk-behind scrubber drier by Diversey
offers a number of water, energy and chemical saving features that
promote sustainability and controlled cost in use. It has been
introduced to meet demand for a high performance medium format
machine. It is also one of the TASKI swingo
scrubbers driers recently added to the Water
Technology List after successfully meeting the
criteria for Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA)
claims.
The TASKI swingo 855B machine has compact
dimensions, a short turning circle and simple
controls to ensure it can operate in tight corners and
corridors as narrow as 530mm wide. Simple,
ergonomic and intuitive controls, with all relevant
information displayed on the dashboard, ensure the
machine is agile and easy to use with minimal
operator training.The maximum working speed of
4.5km/h and brush width of 50cm combine to offer
a highly productive 2250m2/h floor cleaning
performance.The brush unit is specially designed
to clean efficiently right up to a wall or floor
edge.
Consistent use of chemicals
The scrubber drier has a 40 litre tank and can be used with the
patented Cleaning Solution Dosing (CSD) system which automatically
doses the precise amount of chemical matched to the machine's
speed.This ensures consistent use of chemical for each square metre
of floor and helps eliminate the formation of puddles and curves
when the machine slows to turn corners. It also eliminates product
wastage and reduces water consumption by up to 50 per cent which
means reduced costs and fewer stops for tank refills for improved
sustainability and productivity.
Sustainability is further enhanced when the machine is powered by
the XFC (eXtra Fast Charge) Flex battery. Energy consumption is
reduced by around 20 per cent compared with ordinary batteries
when XFC Flex is used in conjunction with a high frequency
charger. XFC Flex batteries can be charged for short
periods and whenever required, such as during
scheduled work breaks, even when the battery is
partially discharged.This means cleaning can be
done at any time without waiting for a full battery
charge and the machine is effectively in constant
use.
Like all TASKI swingo scrubber driers this new
model is designed to remove dirt, grime and up
to 99 per cent of water and cleaning solution.
This means the floor can be put back in use
almost immediately,with minimal risk of slip/fall
accidents and no need to restrict access with
cumbersome hazard signs. Its patented brush
follows the floor profile and delivers near even
pressure across the full working width for the
best possible soil removal.The new and
patented V-shaped squeegee enables
excellent water pick-up while the machine's
three-wheel layout helps to ensure the mechanism maintains floor
contact without any additional adjustment. Its WD (wheel drive)
system ensures ergonomic and
