Improve productivity and save water
January 1st 2006 Every industrial or commercial floor, whether it's in a shopping mall, factory, warehouse or hospital, presents its own individual cleaning challenge. To meet that challenge Nilfisk-Advance has launched a versatile new range of ride-on scrubber dryers with six different scrub deck options plus numerous brushes. The collection includes three battery-operated models offering a scrub width of 810mm, 890mm or 970mm to suit the varied needs of contract cleaners or in-house cleaning teams.
The BR 850, 950 and 1050 feature Nilfisk's QuickChange deck system that enables brushes to be changed in a matter of seconds to suit specific floor conditions. This innovative design also allows convenient access for routine maintenance, resulting in less downtime. Emptying of the solution tank has also been made fast and easy courtesy of Nilfisk's EasyFlow drain hose system; while the 'ECO' solution valve reduces water usage by up to 70% and improves productivity.
These latest additions to Nilfisk's ride-on scrubber/dryer range are designed for large area floor cleaning at a rate of up to 5800m2 per hour using the top of the range BR 1050. In addition, the machines have a slim profile for superb manoeuvrability, plus a turning radius of just 163cm for efficient cleaning in congested areas or narrow aisles.
All models in the new range benefit from Nilfisk's ClearView sight lines, providing excellent field of vision for greater safety in use. Also, an advanced ergonomic design, including an adjustable steering column, ensures a comfortable working position for reduced user fatigue and increased productivity, even on long shifts. Furthermore, the machines' one-touch control panel means operatives can be up and running with the minimum of training.
Built to thrive in tough conditions, Nilfisk's new scrubber/dryers combine a compact design with robust construction for long life and durability. And with a low noise level of 68db(A), the machines can also be used for floor cleaning in noise-sensitive areas, such as the healthcare sector, or for daytime cleaning operations.
