Hako machines going for gold
December 1st 2006

Hako says its new Hakomatic B 70 delivers efficient wet cleaning of medium sized and large areas. Simple handling, innovative technology and high performance ensure perceptibly better working and low running costs, according to the company

The machine is easy to manoeuvre and offers optimum visibility of the area to be cleaned. Infinitely variable drive propels the Hakomatic B 70, with which a maximum area performance of 3200 m2 is possible. The battery running time, which corresponds to this level of performance as well as the on-board charger, fitted as standard, make a it possible to have the machine ready for use all the time.

Two powerful brush motors guarantee an even cleaning result over the complete working width. On the Hakomatic B 70 there are 65 cm plate brushes; the equipment version B 70 CL and CLH can be equipped, as an option, with a cylindrical brush head with integrated sweeping function and a working width of 60 cm.

Environmental aspects and cost factors were at the fore when it came to the development of the Hakomatic B 70: as a result of the Hako-Aqua-Control- System considerably less water and cleaning agent are consumed: the brushes and water supply are stopped automatically when the machine comes to a standstill.

The dosage of cleaning solution is precise and is dependent upon the speed of the machine (equipment version CL).Afterwards new squeegee geometry ensures that the cleaning solution is picked up safely – even if the floor conditions are difficult.

Hako machines will also be out in force at the Asian Games in Qutar this month. Cleanevent, which will handle cleaning and waste management at the event, has hired over 30 Hako machines – from the small Hamster Carpet for the media centre's carpets to ride-on scrubber-driers for thorough wet cleaning in the stadiums.
