More power, less noise
October 1st 2007

The IVB 9 series is available in three models with a choice of dust classes to suit different applications, from cleaning up general spills and debris in small industrial premises and workshops to managing high volumes of dirt and dust in potentially hazardous environments. Nilfisk- Advance has designed the new IVB 9 machines to make industrial vacuum cleaning more productive and lower in cost. The range includes the Basic model, which is an L Class option with a 70 litre container, and the SD version in Classes L, M, H or Atex Z 22 and featuring Nilfisk's Sit-Down container system for quick and easy emptying without having to remove the motor head. The IVB 9 ED Easy Discharge vac is an M Class machine for dry pickup only and has a convenient disposal bag rather than a container to reduce downtime during emptying. The IVB 9 range also incorporates Nilfisk's exclusive filter cleaning systems to maintain airflow for optimal cleaning performance. With the Push&Clean facility on the Basic model the operator simply covers the fitting or hose and presses the button to send powerful air pulses to clean the filter. The SD and ED versions are fitted with the XtremeClean automatic filter cleaning system, which cleans the filter every 30 seconds while the machine is in use and ensures consistent operation without loss of airflow. All models in Nilfisk's new IVB 9 range of industrial vacs are fitted with a washable, large surface PET-fleece filter for high efficiency and low maintenance. The machines' rigid stainless steel frame and industrial-class construction are designed to withstand the toughest knocks in even the most demanding cleaning environments. "The development of our new IBV 9 vacs, as with all our products, began by listening to customers and then incorporating design features to meet their needs, whether it's better filtration, more power or easier emptying," says Karen James, sales and marketing director.
