Getting a grip on fire safety December 1st 2007 Fixed frame matting specialist
Gripfit has noticed an increase in
enquiries to upgrade and replace
entrance and exit matting,
following the 1st July smoking ban.
"The increased traffic flow to
outdoor smoking zones, or around
entrance and exit areas, means
many venues are having to re-look
at their matting provision," says Ben
Colbourne,Gripfit director.
"Ineffective mats result in more
dirt and moisture being tracked
back into the building, while worn
matting is unsightly and
dangerous." Gripfit's aluminium
frame system is said to eliminate
problems of slips and trips and
provides a neat solution to
entrance and exit matting.The low
profile frame can be fixed to any
hard, flat surface, securely fixing a
moisture retentive mat in place and
giving the option to fill in mat wells,
without any disruption to traffic. More articles from Gripfit Ltd: |
