Household name enters commercial market April 1st 2007 One of the domestic floorcare market's biggest names has entered the commercial market with a range of cylinder and upright models as well as carpet washers. Part of the multibillion dollar Techtronic Industries group, Vax has been involved in floorcare market for 30 years and believes the experience will hone its commercial offering. The company says the new range is robust, durable and performanceled, – and backed-up with comprehensive after sales and service. Launched at the Cleaning Show, the VCC cylinder range encompasses models from 1250W to 1500W, with and without HEPA filtration. According to the company, customers have been swift to praise its new uprights. The lightweight VCU-02 for example, has been trialled at Leabrook nursing home in Tipton, where head of domestics Rita Baker and her team have been putting it through its paces. "We have nothing but praise for the cleaner," says Owner Monica Lovell. "It's extremely easy to use, light and manoeuvrable, very robust and hasn't let us down on even the toughest job."
