You'll love it when a plan comes together December 1st 2006 In 1992 a crack team of disaster restoration specialists combined to form a national network.Today, still wanted by insurance companies across the country, it excels in righting misfortune. If you have a problem and no-one else can help, maybe you can hire ...Rainbow International
In the October/November issue of Cleaning Matters was a brief news piece in the Fire and Flood section regarding the predicted high Autumn tides, and the plans a leading restoration company had implemented in preparation for the flooding that would occur, should the forecasts materialise.
Fortunately, for all those householders and business owners that would have been affected, the meteorological conditions that would have brought about a disaster didn't prevail.
The company described and featured in the article was fire and flood disaster restoration specialist, Rainbow International.
Although the high tides and the heavy rains predicted didn't arrive, the Rainbow franchise network was well prepared to handle the very worst that could have been thrown at them, proving total commitment and uncompromising readiness to cope with the needs of people in distress. This, claims Rainbow, is why it is the preferred service provider to the insurance industry in this country, handling fire, flood and accidental damage claims on a 24/7 basis.
Although the Rainbow International Disaster Plan was not called upon on this occasion, its efficacy has been proven many times in the past:The Northamptonshire floods in 1998, the Sussex floods of 2000, and more recently the severe flooding of Boscastle, Carlisle,Glossop,North Yorkshire and Elgin, to name but a few.At every single site, Rainbow teams were on hand with a recovery plan.
The last flood call out, most unexpectedly, came when the northeast of Scotland suffered inclement weather conditions during mid-October.
Some damaged property was as far away as the Orkney's. Rainbow was there again, with every franchised operation in Scotland, sending teams of fully trained operatives to get the clean up underway with senior head office staff in attendance co-ordinating the plan. Reports came back from the stricken regions that other companies who had been requested to attend, couldn't, stating that they wouldn't be available for up to a week! So much for rapid response...
As a company, Rainbow International says it has excelled within the scope of disaster restoration for nearly 15 years. And the insurance companies for which it provides the service bear testimony to the skill, expertise and absolute understanding of the needs of its customers that every franchisee within the 130 strong network possesses.
Many people outside of the industry may not appreciate what is actually involved in fire and flood restoration and recovery. The technical aspects are profound – with many considerations revolving around health and safety and logistical issues. Not least, however, is the need for a full and empathetic appreciation of the trauma and distress being experienced by the householder or business owner whose property has been affected.
Although the Rainbow network is truly nationwide, the company still has some areas still available and are on the lookout for aspiring franchisees: people with the ambition to work hard and earn high.
Rainbow is very selective when it comes to recruiting for its network, as franchisees are expected to be capable, with the company's support, of building a secure and very profitable business.
