Wet to dry in record time
October 1st 2007

The Revival Company has been working non stop since the recent summer floods in order to get residents and even pupils back to normal regime as quick as possible using its innovative Speed Drying System

The system has recently dried 88 flooded council properties in Wakefield in record time. The flats and houses were seriously flooded in June and July of this year, and after Revival's hard work all the properties are now dry and ready for redecoration work.

The houses were dried within six weeks, saving the City of Wakefield Metropolitan District Council a vast amount of time and money.

After The Revival company had finished the project, out of the 88 houses that were serviced, 87 of them did not have to be re-plastered or infact need any major repair work done, again saving the council a lot of money, and keeping the residents very happy in what was a very distressing time.

In Oxfordshire,Carterton Community College was one of the nations worst-hit schools when a torrential downpour caused floods across the county on Friday 20th July 2007.Without Revival's speed drying system, the total drying time would have been barely a third of the way through.

The school was affected by an average of two feet of water, although in some places it was over five foot in depth. Due to start the new term on 3rd September were 1500-2000 students, creating a deadline of five to six weeks for the school to be able to open again. It seemed then an impossible target to meet.

Because of the Speed Drying System,Carterton Community College was able to open on time for the new school year, with only minimal disruption to college operations, solving what could have been a potentially large headache for all who were connected with the school.

"We have been very busy these last few months, and with the above mentioned cases we wouldn't have been able to complete the jobs in anywhere near the time we have without the Speed Drying System, says Graham Orriss, managing director of The Revival Company. "Our experienced teams and state-of-the-art technology have played a significant part in bringing people back to normality in what has been a very difficult time for all affected."
