There were times when most vending machines were designed to dispense specific products.A can vendor would not handle bottles and certainly not a Tetra brik! Other machines designed to vend smaller packs – cigarettes, condoms,washroom and travel necessities – tended also to specialise in very specific areas and ignored the fact that there was not limitless wall space for all the specialist machines needed to vend the items that a site might want.
