Cabinet towels are up to standard

Johnsons Apparelmaster is supporting European standard of hand hygiene, EN 13569, with its new range of Cabinet Towels. It stipulates common European technical requirements on how to maintain effective hand hygiene during the hand drying process.

With an ever-increasing focus on food safety and disease control in the workplace, Johnsons recognises that effective hand drying is as important as washing, and its Cabinet Towel range is specifically designed to helps its customers meet regulations.

Hand washing is very effective in removing most germs off the hands, but very often bacteria will still remain, especially if the hands are not dried properly. This is where hand-towels come in, helping to remove any remaining bacteria left on the hands – something that hot air dryers cannot do – and helping to maintain good hand health.

Johnsons’ cabinet towels use 100% cotton woven material for greater absorbency, the towels help eradicate any remaining bacteria and reduce the risk of hygiene hazards. The towels are also fully rewashable, and can be cleaned using Johnsons’ laundering service.

The cabinet itself is fully recyclable and environmentally friendly,does not jam and, unlike paper towels, the system creates no litter.This in turn enhances washroom appearance.

Paul Stoddart,marketing manager for Johnsons Apparelmaster, said: “We specifically sought the European standard on cabinet roller towels because it provides an officially recognised tool to demonstrate how Johnsons’ products comply with quality and hygiene standards.Paper and hot air dryers have no similar standard, and so cannot provide the same high standards or peace of mind.” Johnsons’Cabinet Towels can be supplied and installed free on loan, with a free spare towel being supplied with each cabinet.
