OCS will be providing Zurich with a range of services including cleaning, ground maintenance,waste management,window cleaning and washroom hygiene.
Chris explains:“This is a significant and prestigious contract win for OCS. We began working with Zurich in 1998 and have significantly increased the number of services we provide to them over that time.
This is a classic example of ‘One Complete Solution’ in practice and demonstrates our ability to provide a flexible service to meet our clients’ specific needs. Our appointment means that Zurich only has one point of contact for the range of facilities management services that we now provide.” Another example of OCS’ ability to provide One Complete Solution is the Greater London Authority, which has added window cleaning to its contract with OCS Cleaning at City Hall, home to the Mayor of London.
Designed by Foster and Partners, one of Britain's leading architects, the GLA City Hall has become a new landmark for the capital and is part of the More London development located between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, on the south bank of the River Thames.
The building has been designed with no front or back: its shape is derived from a geometrically modified sphere. The design also incorporates many environmental features through the shape and alignment of the building – making it a unique building to work in and clean.
OCS Cleaning has been working in the City Hall building since it opened two years ago as the cleaning contractor and from the beginning has forged an excellent relationship with the City Hall team, which has been supported by the delivery of high quality service throughout this time. Local management presence ensures essential continuation of service levels.
The addition of window cleaning to the existing contract is a direct result of the ongoing relationship and continued client satisfaction.
