Panther Platform Rentals are achieving a UK first – taking delivery of an Eagle 4430 truck mounted aerial platform, the largest Oil & Steel machine in the UK.

Sourced direct from Oil & Steel’s UK distributor The Platform Company, the purchase follows an extensive search by Panther Platform Rentals for a range topping truck mount supported with top levels of service and training. Offering a mix of strength, reach and a host of useful features, Panther Platform Rentals’ new Eagle also includes bespoke accessories specifically targeted at the contract cleaning market.

Possessing 44 metres of working height combined with 30 metres of outreach around all 360° of the truck. Flexibility is the key to its high performance.With a jib that can be angled up to +170° and a 360° slewing turret, the Eagle has great ability to provide access to challenging applications. Difficult locations such as internal quadrangle facades surrounded by tall buildings or containing fragile roofs are no longer insurmountable. Electro hydraulic platform levelling works in conjunction with leading levels of working height and outreach to get operatives up and over obstacles.

Specially designed to maximise both safety and productivity at height, the Eagle’s platform features two 240V sockets for electrical tools and a special 150psi water outlet for cleaning lances.With up to 400kg of load capacity the Eagle’s operating benefits come into its own; ample room and capacity for up to three personnel plus their tools and equipment.
