 Nilfisk launches low cost, high performing tub vacuum
Nilfisk has launched a low cost, high performing tub vacuum aimed at the volume sector. The GD111 is compact and lightweight, weighing 5.2kg, up to 25% less than its closest competitor, says the company. The 10 litre container has a net fill of 8 litres, which is claimed to be double that of competitors.

Washroom products supplier KIMBERLY-CLARK PROFESSIONAL* has achieved Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) ‘chain of custody’ certification for all its European mills. The FSC scheme recognises that the wood fibre used to make paper products in the company’s factories comes from well-managed FSC-certified forests and/or from post-consumer recycled fibre.

Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) is asking passengers to visit the bathroom before boarding in an attempt to reduce carbon emissions.

 Soap dodgers shamed up
People are more likely to wash their hands when they have been shamed into it, according to a study by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. The study, published in the American Journal of Public Health, looked at responses to electronic hygiene messages displayed in UK service station toilets.
