Public believes fining will end enviro-crime (10th January 2012)
New research carried out by Keep Britain Tidy shows that people who have received a Fixed Penalty Notice were more likely to believe that fining could change people’s behaviour than those who haven’t. This finding will come as good news to local authorities who are using enforcement as a method to keep communities free from flytipping, litter, graffiti and grime.
